Hi all,
here is something all of you can surely do.
Harper wants questions from Canadians ...let's give "it" to him .
Go to the following links and ask your question re: unfair application of bilingualism in Canada and why and what he will do about it. I wouldn't expect that even Harper would answer us...BUT the big thing is that your questions all appear for other Cdns to see....
eg. at the youtub/talk canada link below...just enter "bilingualism" in the search field..

Also...not the numbers of people "tuning in" to this type of exchange (on top left of their homepage).. I think the gov't has finally figured out that people are starting to organize themselves and have started to wisen up to their corruption; and that they better try to appease the people (not necessarily succumb to the will of the population though--that remains to be seen)

There is still time to submit questions to the Prime Minister and to vote on which ones he gets asked.

Our Prime Minister was the first in history to engage with Canadians by speaking to them live through YouTube, and now he'll be the first to sit down and actually answer questions from everyday Canadians.

Please go to YouTube.com/TalkCanada to submit a question and to vote. You can also do video submissions.

Then, next Tuesday on YouTube (YouTube.com/TalkCanada), at 7pm EST, the Prime Minister will sit down and answer the most popular questions submitted by all CANADIANS.

Get involved and be a part of Canadian history!

Special Note: The live broadcast is open to all Canadians. No special access is required. Any Canadian can submit a question and vote on others.

Welcome to all visitors

This is to thank all of you who are visiting our web site.  We are very happy that you have decided to investigate our efforts to fight against a discriminatory policy that has elevated the French-speakers to 1st Class status and the rest of us to 2nd & 3rd class status.  The last classification would refer to the half million (575,555 in the 2006 census) English-speakers in Quebec who are harrassed in their daily lives by Bills 22, 178 & 101 & by the French-speaking zealots.  Those in Ontario are now in danger of the same treatment as Ontario has a Language Commissioner whose job is to ensure that the 4% French speakers get segregated services (schools, hospitals, clinics, etc).

I received this from someone out west – it represents the opinion of many, many Canadians.  Rather than fiddle with a few words, why are we not questioning why we have two different versions of our national anthem?

The first day of the conference was quite a shock for me.  After we had heard a presentation from the Harris/Decima pollster, Allan Greg & Andre Turcotte from the Feedback Research on the results of public opinion research on Canadian values commissioned for the Manning Networking Conference, I got up to ask a question, “why is it that the English-speaking people of Canada have been ignored in your survey?”

During these times of hardship, with tons of gov't imposed cutbacks not only can our Finance Minister take $9000 trips to Tim Hortons but we can still apparently afford $600 Million to fund OB.
